| Maestrox I was wondering if the RGM function floats the message on top of the general forum content otherwise there is a risk of breaking the layout if you put the message hook at 'random' throughout the template. how does it work? cheers Roy |

| Re: RGM system
Hi Roy, To clear up how the RGM system works I've uploaded some screenshots of the admincp here. As you can see you configure everything that is to be diplayed. So if you want a random image (or banner) to be displayed you would setup an Message Category called "Random Images" and then create a Random Messages with the following content: Code: <img src="http://www.yoursite.com/path/to/your/image.gif" border="0" alt="" /> If you have any more questions, please don't hesitate to ask |

The upload of the RGM package is quite straightforward and went easily - I have been trying this weekend to load some messages and a problem has occured. I have built a global message to inform users of planned downtime. When loaded, either to the forum home vbadvanced, or at the end of the navbar template all is good (shows on all pages) Except that photpost classifieds will not load the page at all. Its the only area knocked out and I was wondering if you have an idea where to look for the issue. cheers Roy |
