Okay this one has me mystified....

On our main site www.4winmobile.com we use a slightly modified Red Carbon style with no issues at all.

That same style applied to www.4netbook.com works perfectly except that when folks use the QUOTE BB code there is no box surrounding the quoted text, the rest of the formatting i.e the italics is there just no border around it.

I've checked all the obvious things like style variables and etc as well as site settings and all is set correctly.

Even weirder is that the seasons style which was applied in the same way as Red Carbon does not have this issue at all.

Any ideas as this is driving me nuts!

hmm, this is strange indeed. Have you checked to make sure all the post settings are correct? If you're still having problems open up a support ticket and I'll see what I can do.

As far as I can see yes all is an exact copy of the main site, and on the Seasons style there is no such problem.

If you can create an account on www.4netbook.com I'll upgrade you to Admin and raise a support ticket.

Cheers - will save that logon for the future. The problem was sorted with the help from the guys at vB - The BB Quote template had got corrupted somehow.

Ah ok, that's really strange. Who knows how these wierd little things happen. Glad you got it sorted

God knows but fixed at least. Interestingly enough that template showed as requiring updating after the 3.8.2 update, but on entering it and saving it it still showed up as requiring updating. In the end I had to revert it to fix the problem. So something definitely weird was taking place.
