we are looking for a custom site skin, possibly a photograph as the entire view, all headers, borders, objects and type would float on the picture, are there drawbacks,issues? possible? thanks for any help. Steve

So you would like the enire forum content to be within a picture frame? I guess you're wanting a sort of desk/relastic look? (i.e. As if you're looking down at the desk and information is used in combo with props?) I've seen quite a few blog designs that go for this approach and its quite effective.

This is possible, the only issues I can see would be time. It would take a bit longer than usual to create than your standard vBulletin skin.

MaestroX, thanks for the reply, something like a scene from the beach and yes like looking at a desktop, would it be possible to change the picture from a selected assortment? is there a storage or bandwidth issue? Very new to this, clueless actually but wondered if the "page"? would be changeable?

It would work yes, though it would possibly require some clever coding. What is the theme of your site?

its a reefkeeping site with the emphasis on community fun and interaction, i suppose solid colors would be simpler?
