2 Problems: Forum Listings & Banner

I'm having 2 problems.

The first one is readily apparent in this screen shot:

See the template error below the login/password?
This is a problem regardless of the browser (Firefox or IE)

My second problem only exists in IE 6. Notice how the banner is against the forum listings page, whereas in Firefox there is a sizable gap. I could simply edit the banner but I don't think I should have to, because it should be the same in both browsers.

Thanks

Hello,

For you first problem, please see the documentation here: http://www.vbskinzone.com/forums/doc...dcarbon_faq_tb

I tested Red Carbon with browsershots.org with IE 6 but I was unable to reproduce the error. Could you provide a link to your site for further testing?

Thanks, that looks much better.

As for the second problem, here is the link-

If need be, I'll simply edit the banner to produce a small gap, but I'd prefer not to.

Apologies, this is quite a tricky error. After some time editing templates I have yet to come up with a solution.

There should be a vBulletin update released tommorow for 3.7.2 tommorow, I'll try get a solution intergrated with the update.

Re: 2 Problems: Forum Listings & Banner

There is another strange problem.

In Firefox 2.0.0.14 and IE 7 running Windows Vista, notice the gray background (i.e. behind the login/password area) doesn't show up. This isn't a problem in Windows XP, even running the exact same version of Firefox/IE. This doesn't make sense to me because OS shouldn't matter, right?

See attachment. Very odd...

Hello,

This is strange, as in the picture you've posted, the skin looks as it always has to me. Between when I first designed it to now I've changed from IE6 to IE7 and from XP to Vista.

Can you post a image of what it looks with the grey background?

My apologies. It appears to be a problem with the monitor I'm using. I changed the color profile, and it looks fine now. For a minute there I thought I was losing my mind. I know the OS couldn't be the problem, but I also didn't think to check the monitor itself...

Any thoughts about the banner thing in IE?

Thanks

Re: 2 Problems: Forum Listings & Banner

The issue has been resolved.

I simply added this code beneath the banner:

Code:
<!--[if IE]>

<![endif]-->
