I believe RC4 was a major security fix.
From RC4 to Gold, the only change is the fact that 'Release Candidate 4' text has been removed.

I'm itching to upgrade to the full Gold!
I hope MeastroX gets back soon!

Apologies for my late reply.

Update for vBulletin 3.7 Gold will be available this weekend. Included will be tekguru's request for 100% W3C compliancy.

Updates to vBulletin Blog and Project Tools will be released shortly after as they contain important security fixes.

Ps: Meastrox, can u make a system so that we receive an email when a style update is available? I would be handy i guess

I will endeavour to get the updates out as soon as possible, though I want a good solid release for 3.7 Gold, which means a ground-up rewrite of most of the skins.

Also, if you ever decide to go the newsletter route - MailChimp are a great company
